Herbs from Flower "Lamiaceae"

Moustache Cat plants are tropical herbs and shrubs from the family of "Lamiaceae" in Malaysia. Moustache Cat trees are herbs and shrubs that grow up to a height of 1.5 meters. Name Orthosiphon stamineus science, Benth.

This is a flowering plants and is often grown as an ornamental plants. The flowers were in 'verticil' is about 16 cm long. Flowers bluish white with long filaments, such as  Moustache Cat plants .

leaves arranged in opposite pairs. Cats Moustache green leaves, shaped and tapered at the end of the margin berjereja. Short petioles, measuring 0.3 cm in length and reddish-purple. Cat trees square mustache, reddish in color, grow upright and branches.

This can be planted throughout the year and it can grow as high as 0.3 to 1 meter. The flowers are white, and the whole plant can be used as medicine. Cats Moustache leaves are used as herbal medicine to treat diabetes.

The herbs used to improve urinary tract and kidneys and to help prevent kidney stones. According to research, dried leaves are diuretic and helps remove excess uric acid in the body.
